H.E Dong Joon Yoo

Deputy Minister Dong Joon Yoo is a graduate of Korea University,
with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He later earned a Master’s
Degree and PhD in Construction Environment Engineering at Korea
Advanced Institute of Science and Technology ( KAIST ). His key
assignments at the Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense
start as Deputy Director, for roles such as Installations Planning and
USFK Base Relocation. In 2015, he was promoted to Director of
Installations Planning, and again to Director General roles such as
Programming & Budgeting and Military Installations Planning. Most
recently, he took the position as Deputy Minister of Military Force
and Resources Management in 2021.
